Report 2025 September 22nd lecture for Anan Shiritsu Fukui Junior High School, Tokushima

At the May 24th I had a meeting with an Anan school teachers from Fukui, Tokushima.  

   They invited me to give an one-hour lecture for students. That is probably my longest lecture. I was preparing few main topics: self-introduction, my way evacuation to Poland and then to Japan, about children's right during the war, about culture of Ukraine and art center what I am running now in Mima, Tokushima.  

   But was some problem with the culture part. Even talking about seasons holidays, shortly, it took a lot. And my romaji speed reading is not perfect. Only my husband could read all my lecture fast enough to complete it with all video and presentation materials in time.  

   So it was taken not easy decision to take off the culture part. That is a good opportunity to come and give another one lecture with workshop about Ukraine in the future.  

   The road takes almost 3 hours one way and another 3 hours to go back home. 6 hours driving for one hour work. You must be thinking that I am crazy, but at that moment I was felt it is important. Important for school, for students, for me. Better to show real face, come and give lecture offline instead of online. A specially when main topic of studying is a Human rights and Anan school every year doing a play. This time there was a play based on my story.
