About the event
Ukrainian embroidery is a sacred art form with roots stretching back to antiquity. Traditionally used on clothing and ritual towels (rushnyky), it acts as a visual language. Geometrical, floral, and zoomorphic patterns serve as protective amulets (oberih) for the wearer. Each region of Ukraine has its own unique color palettes and stitch techniques, making it a rich and diverse heritage.
