About the event
A Motanka is an ancient Ukrainian family amulet that dates back thousands of years. Its name comes from the word motaty (to wind). These dolls are unique because they are made entirely without needles or stitching—only by winding and knotting fabric and thread. Traditionally, they have no facial features, ensuring that the doll remains a pure protector of the household, free from external influences.
