Pinhole camera workshop 7/25

Ever wondered how light creates images? Join us for a hands-on journey to the roots of photography! In this workshop, you will transform a simple box into a working camera. No lenses, no sensors—just a tiny hole, light, and your creativity.

Time & Location

25 Jul 2026, 10:00 – 13:00

Mima, Nishibun-143 Wakimachi Ōaza Inoshiri, Mima, Tokushima 779-3602, Japan

About the event

A pinhole camera (also known as a camera obscura) is the simplest form of a camera. It is a light-proof box with a tiny hole on one side. Light passes through this single point and projects an inverted image onto light-sensitive paper inside. No glass, no lenses—just the pure physics of light.
